FGTS board adds R$ 500 million, lifting the Minha Casa Minha Vida subsidy to R$ 13 billion in 2026
The FGTS Board of Trustees approved on September 10, at its 207th ordinary meeting, a R$ 500 million supplement to the 2026 housing-subsidy budget, from R$ 12.5 billion to R$ 13 billion, at the Ministry of Cities' request, for tiers 1 and 2 of Minha Casa Minha Vida; projected actual use is R$ 12.6 billion and the top-up gives room to shift funds between financial agents at year-end.
