What sources are saying

The Ibovespa turned the month around: after the eleven-session slide that ended August 19, the index strung eight straight gains and closed the August 28 week up about 2.7%, anchored on Selic-cut bets fed by IPCA-15 deflation and weak Caged data. Foreign flows remain contested — weekly inflows against record monthly outflows.
